I am pleased to announce that I have been added to the Marquis Who's Who Biographical Directory.
Since 1898, Marquis Who's Who has been publishing biographical data - covering the lives of leaders and achievers from around the world. Marquis Who's Who covers professionals in all fields, ranging from lawyers, to doctors, to academics and beyond. Their biographies follow the lives of people such as Oprah, Abraham Lincoln, Jackie Robinson, and Bill Gates.
It is an honor for my biography to be included in the Marquis Who's Who database.
Growing up in McLean County, Illinois – I always knew that I wanted to come back to Central Illinois to practice law. Starting as a small town farm kid to becoming a successful Estate Planning Attorney in Central Illinois is an accomplishment I don't take lightly.
My practice has changed a lot since I started practicing law in 2002. From practicing as a solo attorney, to merging my practice with another law firm for four years in 2012, to going back to practicing law on my own again in 2016 (Ritchie Law Office, Ltd. -- 2.0) I have learned a lot over the years.
Restarting Ritchie Law Office, Ltd. in 2016 has been one of the best decisions of my life. I refocused my practice to estate planning law -- now all I do is estate planning - helping people create wills, trusts and power of attorney documents. I have found that educating and teaching people how estate planning works helps our clients create the best estate plans and they actually understand how their estate plan works. I value the relationships I have made with my clients and other professionals in the community.
The Four Core Values of "Listen, Win, Love, Team" are the foundation of the Ritchie Law Office, Ltd. Mission Statement – “Helping Clients Achieve Success, Peace and a Lasting Legacy.” Professionally – I do a lot more than “apply facts to the law” -- I now focus on working with clients that are great people that I enjoy working with. I help my clients be better parents, business owners and community members – through estate planning.
It was a learning process to get where I am today with a lot of ups and downs. I am always learning how to be a better lawyer and a better person. I am grateful that my biography was selected to be included in the the Marquis Who's Who directory.
